I was born into a farm family in rural Clay County. There I learned the values of hard work and commitment.
My wife and I raised our family here in rural Minnesota and I’ve been honored to work with our youth for over 35 years as a teacher.
My strong desire to help people and make things better led me to public service - as a mayor and legislator.
I’ve enjoyed being part of our communities and working with you to keep rural Minnesota strong. As a grandfather I will continue to work for our future.
